Many children visited the farm this year for a variety of educational programming. Youth from the Boys & Girls Club are learning about vegetables and healthy food choices.

Our goats are having fun at Jefferson Farm & Gardens. To the bottom left, Heidi shows off her jumping height. Not to be outdone, Buttercup follows suit.

Meet our horses! They are haflingers, a breed that originated in Austria. Haflingers are small draft horses well known for their docile temperament.

Intern Stephanie Gutshall moves posts to build a trellis for table and wine grapes. Behind her, the wildflower meadow's lanceleaf coreposis is in bloom.

We recently celebrated a groundbreaking for the Visitor Education Complex! Construction will begin in June.

The exterior of the MFA Children's Barn is almost complete! We plan to have our farm animals arriving in June 2008.
